Do you provide boxes?

Yes, we can provide boxes, however this service is only provided when you book removals with us.

Do you offer storage?

Absolutely, we offer wooden box storage in the following dimensions:

250 cubic feet – 7’3” x 7” x 5”

7.12 cubic metres – 1.52m wide x 2.13m long x 2.20m high

35 square feet

When should I book the removal?

For small jobs or single items usually, we need few days’ notice, but we can do it last minute if we have free slot. With bigger jobs we need at least 2 weeks’ notice.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we have Public Liability and Goods in Transit Insurance.

Do you offer packing service?

Yes, we offer packing service at an extra cost. Just ask for an estimate so we can be flexible to suit your requirements.

Can you disassemble and assemble furniture?

We’re more than happy to help, all we need is some advanced warning in your request and we’ll do the rest.

Do you do long distance removals?

Yes, we’re not just limited to the Edinburgh area, we cover the whole of the UK.

Will my furniture be protected?

We’ll do our very best to ensure your furniture is protected throughout our time spent with you. Whilst we use specialist covers and moving blankets, all we ask is that you mark fragile items, so we know to take extra special care during the move.

Can I help with lifting?

Let us do the hard work! We prefer to use our experienced and fully trained staff for all heavy lifting, so you don’t have to lift a finger.

How long will my removal take?

We’ll inform you of the length of time once we’ve given you your quotation.

Do I need to pay deposit?

To save any last-minute mishaps, we do ask for a deposit for the bigger jobs.

Do you work at the weekend?

Yes, we work 7 days a week.

Do you offer an hourly rate or day rate?

Instead of hourly rates, we give a fixed price for every job. All we ask is that you give us a full inventory of the items needed for moving so we can give you an accurate quote.

Can I travel in your removal van?

Yes, you can if we have enough space in the cabin, just ask before and we’ll do what we can.

Do you do rubbish removal or clearance?

Yes, we can dispose items or rubbish, but we not allowed to go to the council recycling centres. Rubbish is always disposed in recommended recycling companies with SEPA licence.

Are you always on time?

We’ll do our very best to ensure we’re with you on time, however sometimes there are outside factors which may make is late. If we are ever behind schedule, we’ll always update you by text or phone call to keep you posted.
